MEASUREspy is new software that bridges the communication gap between complex data from measurement devices and analysis software. MEASUREspy can easily find the important data in complicated, structured output, such as files from CMMs. MEASUREspy virtually eliminates keyboarding or manual data entry, as well as the errors associated with these tasks. By working with the increasingly sophisticated devices used throughout manufacturing industries, it makes critical data immediately available for analysis with SQCpack or other software programs.

Users define sets of "rules" that determine what data is to be collected. Then users select where they want the data to go; an ASCII file, Excel spreadsheet, or an SQCpack database. This eliminates the need to comb through thousands of lines of irrelevant data to identify critical figures. For example, a CMM device that generates an extended combination of measurements, also generates a certain amount of noise.

With MEASUREspy you can define fields by highlighting the data.

The user is interested only in CMM data that is associated with diameters. A MEASUREspy dialogue box guides the user through a set of filtering rules, and reports only the data associated with diameters.

With MEASUREspy, you choose the resulting format for your measurements. Save measurements, data, or files directly into SQCpack for Windows or Excel, or save them as ASCII text files. As ASCII text files, your measurements can be used by most popular spreadsheet, database, and statistical analysis packages.

Combined with SQCpack for Windows, MEASUREspy makes your measurements available for SPC charts and analysis as soon as you take the readings—the best opportunity for getting value from them.
